Marcus: Hey Michael, let's be BATS!
Marcus and Michael grabbed blankets for wings and flapped madly around their room. They were flapping at each other and it was turning into an unsightly wrestle, with sharp bed-corners threatening etc.
Dad: Come on, settle down! Leave each other alone!
Marcus: We're rival males!
My younger sister and I used to play "Mary and the Babyjesus" when we were about the same age. It was a post-shower game- 'Mary' would come out of the bathroom wrapped in a blue towel, then surprise! she'd open the towel to reveal the 'Babyjesus.' My sister got angry because I always made her be the Babyjesus. (We weren't a religious family.)

ReplyDeleteI think you should have a new feature on your blog where the boys explain nature, physical geography and astronomy. I think it would be a big hit.
