Cello Scrotum / Danger Biscuit

According to Schott's Almanac 2010,
  • there is only one pig in all of Afghanistan. He lives in the Kabul Zoo, and is named Khanzir.
  • Mindlab International did research on biscuit-related injuries and concluded that the most dangerous biscuit is the custard cream
  • 62% of people in the UK do not know the parable of the Prodigal Son
  • 35% of dogs in Scotland are obese
  • British Sandwich Designer of the Year (2009) was Thomas Allen of Buckingham Foods
  • The British Medical Journal announced in 2009 that there is no such condition as "cello scrotum". The author of a letter reporting the condition, published in 1974, contacted the journal and confessed that she and her husband made it up, inspired by the listing that year of "guitar nipple".
  • British travelers consider the Eiffel Tower to be the world's most disappointing attraction, followed by the Mona Lisa, and Times Square, New York.

Follow up reports by Schotts suggest that were the ET, the ML and TS all in England, they would all be super!

Au contraire - the list was followed by a list of dud UK attractions. The winner: Stone'enge.

Agreed. Stone'enge is shite. You can't get near to it, the kiosk is nowt but a lard wagon, and the mobile reception is patchy. Quite frankly I don't know how ancient man coped with it.

Yes, but on St Crispin's Eve the setting sun lines up with the kiosk and Boots the Chemist. Or something.

BTW - My Net-Nanny objects to something in your blog. It is spoilt for choice as 'scrotum' and 'nipple' appear in the same post (As does 'Scotland')

Any chance of me getting "Scunthorpe" through?

better chance than 'Mudchute' (fnar)

My husband tried to interrupt me while I was reading this post and I told him I was busy reading about "cello scrotum". He said nothing and started to walk off. I asked, "You don't want to know about cello scrotum?" and he said no.

How can a man NOT want to know about cello scrotum?

Rob is right - what we don't know can't shrivel us.
